Ugte suraj ki kirnon ke saath ek paigam aaya
Uska khayal aur bas jaane kyun mann bhar aaya
Beete lamhon ke saaye kuch yunn laut ke aaye
Aur tab samjhe ki muddatein ho gayee muskuraye....

Sitting on a calm shore under the moonlit sky
Such sweetness crowned me, while time shot by
Sitting by my side, her soft fingers entwined with mine
And it was like a night without a morning, on my eyes

Every treasured emotion stirring my ageless heart
The world around was changing real quick, so fast

Every moment cherished and charged with her love
With rapture ecstatic, my soul was being drawn into her

Every bit of me billowed by an emotion called love

Impediment

When your mind is full of thoughts, but you don't feel like sharing.....

It ain’t the noise of the mind; it’s the howl of your soul
Emotions bundled within, waiting to explode & explore
The expressions of joy, sorrow, reverence, love & hate
You know them all, the ones imbibed and cultivated since age
Try as you may, and try if you like, but you will see a day
When these elements of you would betray & reach to me
No words, no voice, no written symbols of a trivial language
Your impediments will vanish, and you’ll be known as my devotee

Friends

Friend - a word so trite, so plain & dry
Take it for granted, abuse it outright
Beat it, demean it, and lose it overnight

Friend - an expression so absolute & white
Adore it, nurture it, hold it dear & hold it tight
And when you cry, just let it be the strength inside

Friend - an acquaintance, a comrade
Let them be a part of the unending battle called life
Let them make it right, make it glorified & make it life

Friends if you’ve, you shouldn’t have to fight it all alone
Even though it’s nobody’s battle but your own
Friends if you’ve, you shouldn’t have to be on your own
Because when things turn out bad, you’ll never be alone

Away From The Sun

Away from the sun I am hanging onto myself
Missing the colors of life trying to discover self
You know, I got to make this life make some sense
And I need to find myself, before I turn somebody else

Wonder if you can see me here, where darkness crawls
Wonder if you need me there, in the world you've known
Away from the sun, I'm so far down, to make some sense
To find my way back into life, the sunshine, I rightly deserve

Away from the sun I am hanging onto myself
Fighting the evil, rising within me against my will
You know, I got to make this life make some sense
And I need to find the truth, before I turn somebody else

Wonder if I can get up, break & beat the even odds
Wonder if I can make an effort & reach the sacred gods
Away from the sun, I'm so far down, to make some sense
To find my reality, the true existence, undo the wrongs I've done

Sometimes

Sometimes you just run out of choice

No escape but got to face the real life

Sometimes you just feel it ain't worth the fight

No matter how much you wanna try with all might

Sometimes you feel like quitting and I know you might

Life's been harsh and I know a choice ain't enough right

And I know you need more than a free will to survive

A motive, a reason to pull pieces together before you lose sight

Sometimes something ain't right and it just keeps crawling inside

And you know something you need so bad isn't easy to be had, right

You keep running from all you had till you drop dead & lose your breathe

Chasing your fears you keep running from your unfound future to lost past

Sometimes it just ain't enough to follow the footsteps of a ghost from past

And you need to stand and make it on your own, your way & your paths

Boy, you need to live, feel & believe in your beliefs to pass

And show these worldly lords, damn they can't pull you apart

Boy, just listen, quit you may but before you do just learn to pray

Because once you quit only god might help you mate

LIfe is ReaL

Every now and then you feel the darkness inside
And the battle within never ceases to leave your mind
Facing the mirror, you just can't look him into the eyes
Balancing the edge, you know there's no escape in sight
Rhyming a prayer, you ask good lord to be your armoured knight


And,
You wish life was like it is in bollywood movies
Singing a song you just dance around the trees
In the times of darkness, you're gods favorite kid
Let the evil come, by gods grace, you're bound to win
At the end of it, hero will find his way, dear
And everyone will end up with a smile to remember


But,
Life ain't a movie boy, life is so strictly real
The joy, the pain, all of it is so damn real
Shed away the fears and be ready to bear
LIfe's harsh realities and it's trivial nuisances
Life ain't a movie boy, life is afterall strictly real
