Away From The Sun

Away from the sun I am hanging onto myself
Missing the colors of life trying to discover self
You know, I got to make this life make some sense
And I need to find myself, before I turn somebody else

Wonder if you can see me here, where darkness crawls
Wonder if you need me there, in the world you've known
Away from the sun, I'm so far down, to make some sense
To find my way back into life, the sunshine, I rightly deserve

Fighting the evil, rising within me against my will
You know, I got to make this life make some sense
And I need to find the truth, before I turn somebody else

Wonder if I can get up, break & beat the even odds
Wonder if I can make an effort & reach the sacred gods

To find my reality, the true existence, undo the wrongs I've done

Sometimes

Sometimes you just run out of choice

No escape but got to face the real life

Sometimes you just feel it ain't worth the fight

No matter how much you wanna try with all might

Sometimes you feel like quitting and I know you might

Life's been harsh and I know a choice ain't enough right

And I know you need more than a free will to survive

A motive, a reason to pull pieces together before you lose sight

Sometimes something ain't right and it just keeps crawling inside

And you know something you need so bad isn't easy to be had, right

You keep running from all you had till you drop dead & lose your breathe

Chasing your fears you keep running from your unfound future to lost past

Sometimes it just ain't enough to follow the footsteps of a ghost from past

And you need to stand and make it on your own, your way & your paths

Boy, you need to live, feel & believe in your beliefs to pass

And show these worldly lords, damn they can't pull you apart

Boy, just listen, quit you may but before you do just learn to pray

Because once you quit only god might help you mate

LIfe is ReaL

Every now and then you feel the darkness inside
And the battle within never ceases to leave your mind
Facing the mirror, you just can't look him into the eyes
Balancing the edge, you know there's no escape in sight
Rhyming a prayer, you ask good lord to be your armoured knight


And,
You wish life was like it is in bollywood movies
Singing a song you just dance around the trees
In the times of darkness, you're gods favorite kid
Let the evil come, by gods grace, you're bound to win
At the end of it, hero will find his way, dear
And everyone will end up with a smile to remember


But,
Life ain't a movie boy, life is so strictly real
The joy, the pain, all of it is so damn real
Shed away the fears and be ready to bear
LIfe's harsh realities and it's trivial nuisances
Life ain't a movie boy, life is afterall strictly real

And I Say, Girl
See the light scattered across the shades
Follow your instinct before it starts to fade
See the signs of life & the signs of true self
Look for yourself through the fog and the rain
See the very first dream you had again & again
Take that first step to turn that dream into reality
See through my eyes and Girl, you will know it
I'll take my chances and I know you will hate me
Free mind I had, but it ain't in demand these days
Carefree boy I was, but nobody needs that boy anyway
And I say, Age doesn't make you a man comrade
And I say, Girl, Carefree boy is better than inhibited man anyday

What's wrong?

What's wrong?

Every now and then, someone will have a reason to prove you wrong
Truth or lie, they don't care, they will be in a different state of mind
A flood of emotions and all the wrongs notions will drive them away
Screaming at you, a fit of rage, they will abandon you, come what may
You'll need more than a reason & explanation to connect the divide
It's at times like these you need to have faith and determination to try
If you believe in your beliefs then you won't fake, shy away and hide
You'll find every reason to fill this abyss no matter how deep and wide
It happens one day with everyone whosoever has that one someone dear
It's not just you & me, It also happened with the girl you see in your mirror

Learning to fly

I've been to the oceans & I've been to the skies
I've been through the lows & been through the highs
It's been so wonderful and it's been too tough at times
But when I woke up this morning, Boy, I did realize
It's a journey of my faith & I'm just learning to fly

I hear,
Open your eyes
Look up to the sky
Grab your wings
Boy, get ready to fly

Standing at the edge of time, here I am, facing this world alone
Ready to take deep dive, jump off the cliff & push it far too more
Fear gripping the back of mind, failures of past raising endless doubts
But when I look straight into my own eyes, Boy, I do realize
It's a test of my faith & I got to learn, learn to fly

I hear,
Close your eyes
Dive deep into the heart
Listen to the beats
Boy, welcome on board & enjoy your flight

Choice

A dilemma, mangled web of choices, interwoven plots
Or is it, a mere idea for perfection, calculating the odds
The options, elementary, unsophisticated, abstractly naturalistic
The choices, temporal, conservative, materialistically calculated

Looked back, looked around, nevertheless missed the inwardness
Looked down, eyes wet, however deep inside remained the quest
Finding reasons, the logic, the rational ground, a testament of worldliness
Watery eyes, blurry vision, exploited mind, bound to miss the anticipated one

Entangled in a bitter conflict with self, the predicament
Entrusting the destiny and so called fate, the retreat
Rejoicing the acceptance by worldly lords, the defeat
An arrant & wondrous life, ruined by round-eyed simpleton

Look, look through the amassed stacks of intimate emotions
Look down, read aloud, the rules of life's deepest romanticism
To find, to see, to discover, the one who would pursue your wreath
Blindfolded, take a deep breath, and let the heart rejoice with its choice
